Shrew mouse assembly and gene annotation

Gairdner's shrewmouse (Mus pahari) is a species of rodent in the family Muridae found in China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Assembly

The PAHARI_EIJ_v1.1 assembly was submitted by EBI on 2017/04/28 . The assembly is on the Chromosome level, consisting of 133,720 assembled into 2,581 scaffolds. The N50 size is the length such that 50% of the assembled genome lies in blocks of the N50 size or longer. The N50 length for the contigs is 29,465 while the scaffold N50 is 111,406,228.

This assembly was annotated using the Comparative Annotation Toolkit developed at UCSC and the external annotation imported to ensembl.
